NatalieSha Posted June 26 Posted June 26 Hi everyone 🙂 I want to redesign my Squarespace website and move it to another template, which is actually a different site within Squarespace. I already have organic traffic, so I want to do it properly. Besides copying everything to the new site (including the exact URLs, submitting a new site map, etc.), do I need to create 301 redirects? Any other helpful tips to make this process easier are also welcome. Thanks in advance!
JayneC_SQSP Posted June 29 Posted June 29 Hi @NatalieSha, this is a great question! When redesigning your site, matching URLs is a good way to minimize changes in your site's SEO ranking. You can use 301 redirects if any pages have been removed or if the URL slug has changed.
