goliaph Posted June 22 Posted June 22 Hi! I'm currently making a portfolio website. I decided I wanted a scrollback fixed header. While on the homepage it works wonderfully, I made it adaptable for the sake of gallery pages having a picture up top. The problem is, now when you scroll back the header comes up as basically black, which is too damn dark. I hope I can fix that and change it to some lighter color when scrolled back, while keeping it transparent on the top of the page. Is that at all possible? Here's the site, specifically one of the galleries as an example: https://www.taburtsa.com/flowers Thank you so much for any help you can provide.
Lesum Posted June 22 Posted June 22 @goliaph Hi! What color would you like to use for the header when scrolled back? If you choose a lighter color for contrast, you might also need to change the color of the navigation links and social icons, as they are currently white. If my comments were useful, please like or mark my solution as answer so others can scroll to it quickly. Sam Web Developer & Digital Designer ☕ Did you find my contribution helpful? Buy me a coffee?

That's no problem though, can be edited in styles. As for the color though... I'm not 100% set on it, but maybe something like #BECAF2.
Lewwil Posted September 4 Posted September 4 Facing the same issue here. I currently have an adaptive header - however, when the background colour appears I would like this to be white rather than the slightly off white colour of my websites background. Can't find a fix yet, if someone can help!
