Steps when changing domain provider from GoDaddy to SQSP with existing Google Workspace

Hi there,

I'm helping a client swap their domain from GoDaddy to Squarespace. They have an existing Google Workspace account for this domain, and emails through it (i.e. - hello@example.com). If Example.com swaps from GoDaddy to SQSP, will the Google Workspace swap with it? Do I need to do anything there?

Hi @LouiseDrever, thank you for posting here.

If your client has an existing Google Workspace account for their domain, it's not possible to "link" their email account within the Google Workspace panel of their Squarespace site. Instead, they'll continue paying for and accessing their account through Google directly after transferring their domain to Squarespace. Learn more in our guide:
