Combining recurring appointments and subscriptions

Hello,
I have a client who wants to book her appointments out for six months in the future to make sure she has a consistent day and time.

I want her to be billed every four weeks for four appointments. I can't figure out how to connect those two things - either I put her on a subscription and she books herself a month at a time, risking her not being able to get the appointment time she wants; or I manually book her appointments and set up monthly billing but the two things aren't connected so if she cancels an appointment I don't know where that credit would show.  

Can anyone help?
