Can't export Subscribers only

I see that I can export all "Contacts", but the export option disappears when I view Subscribers.

Has anyone been able to export/download Subscribers only, or this is another newsletter limitation?

so when you view all contacts, you can filter to 'subscribers only', but when you export it still shows all contacts.

left to manually delete each row that doesn't accept marketing

has anyone else had any luck?
