Add to Cart button directs customers straight to checkout

Recommended Posts

When my customers press add to cart, it directs them straight to checkout. This would be okay if on the checkout page there is a “continue shopping” button. Or if there is a way for them to click add to cart, the number changes on their cart icon and stay on the product page that would be preferred. I’m not really tech savvy so please break down your explanation

This happens if Express Checkout is enabled. You can read how to disable this in the Express Checkout support guide.

I have the Same question, When using the website that i built i was unable to find a solution to have a product added to the cart without taking the user straight to the cart to proceed to checkout. This results in the user having to go back to the products page to continue browsing. This is very inconvenient for users who would like to add more than one product to their cart.

Any solutions ?

Turn off Express Checkout.
