Adding a lined border around site

I want to add a lined border around my site but I cant seem to get it right. My website is madebylijn.nl The code I'm using right now is the following. I wanted to add the code to add the lines myself but no matter what I try, it doesn't work. This website is a example of what I effect want to achieve; https://buroboon.com/. I hope somebody can help me out with this one. Thank you!
