Header width issue...

Hi all, 

My header text is right up against the left and right margins of the page and I'd like to bring it in a bit. To add more detail, the logo is right against up the left and the word contact is right up against the right hand side of the screen. This looks bad on my Ipad in particular. Is there any way to add some padding to bring them both in? This is my first website so please excuse the newbie question!

Yeah this is actually native to Squarespace! You just head into site styles -> accessories -> and then you can adjust the site margin to your liking. Hope this helps!
