Remove interaction with embedded video. Currently clicking the thumbnail pauses the video, can you stop this?

I have a site that has a lot of videos embedded via Vimeo. The controls are all hidden so they just play on a loop across the site as you are browsing the portfolio.

The issue is, when you click on any of them it pauses the video. Double clicking also makes it go full screen. Is there a way through squarespace to disable this interaction? I don't mind if you can right click and pause via menu, I see some websites have this but if you click the video I dont want any interaction, no pausing, no opening anything etc its just a looping thumbnail video.

Is this possible? Most of my searches I find are about hiding the video controls, which is already done. I just want to also disable interaction with left clicks pausing the video.
