Why Squarespace DNS propagation is taking forever?

I have recently updated my domain's dns settings, using Netlify's name servers and delegating the DNS settings to Netlify.

However when I use a DNS checker, I notice that half the global servers are not recognizing the name servers or DNS settings. It's been more than a week now and it's still the same. Squarespace support is not responding either.

Is anybody else experiencing the same issue?

Squarespace is the absolute worst in terms of propagation. We've been hanging there for 48 days now waiting for our new external name servers to get propagated. It's like dialup. Cheap and clunky.

Once our new WordPress website is up, we'll transfer the domain itself away from Squarespace altogether. Never again.

I was having the same problem addind this site to cloudflare dns and it was taking a long time to propagate.  I read some cloudflare support page that said to turn off DNSSEC at the old dns provider.  Once I did this it worked a lot faster.
