Making changes on Squarespace 7.0

How can I make modifications to a not linked and disabled page within 7.0? I did it onto my client's home page and affected the live website.  My client must approve it before publishing.

@AnaMariaCarrera if it's a live page, I typically duplicate the page, then make the modifications if they require approval. Then you can replace the original page with the duplicate, making sure you match all the page settings (URL slug, page settings).
