Hello!

I have added photos to a gallery block. I'd like the user to be able to click on a photo and it open a lightbox with the enlarged image, but I don't see that capability within the settings. Does anyone know code to get that to work?

ETA: I can't remember how I created the section for the images in the first place, but it looks like a content section and the content/images are in a carousel format. I need to keep it in the carousel format.

Hello,

You can use the gallery type Grid and there is a lightbox option.

For the carousel there is not a Squarespace option to make them open in a lightbox.
For this you will need custom code.

Our lightbox studio plugin support enabling lightbox for Gallery slideshow blocks and Gallery slideshow sections out of the box, you can check the detail here for slideshow block

Thanks for your reply. I can't use the gallery grid type because I need it to be a carousel.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that this is a section that shows the information in a carousel format. I don't think it's a slideshow block, from what I can tell, but I can't remember how I created this section in the first place. Any suggestions?

Recent updates of Lightbox Studio allows you to enable lightbox for Squarespace Auto layouts sections
