Squarespace 7.1 - Markdown block hyperlink not working

I am using the Markdown for some text and would like to use the hyperlink function on certain text. I simply want to connect certain text to specific pages but when I use the hyperlink feature the link building does not work. (see images below)

I also tried accessing the feature in different browsers (Safari and Google) but the problem is the same.

You try asking Squarespace Customer Care, I think combining both HTML tag + Markdown Syntax so it causes problem.

Or if you used HTML tag, you can add hyperlink with this syntax
