Wufoo form not loading on my website

Hi everyone,
Hope someone can help me - I have embedded a Wufoo form on my client's website and styled the form by following Wufoo's instructions.

(Uploaded custom CSS to Wufoo's file manager, copied the link and added that to the advanced form styling)

My form won't load unless I refresh my browser. I know this can sometimes happen while you are editing the page but it continues to happen even when I log out.

Hope someone can help,
Cheers!

Hey @buggjas It sounds like you're using an older version 7.0 template with Ajax Page Loading enabled. For more information, check my post Why does Squarespace code only work on refresh?

Please post back and let us know how you get on.

Hi @paul2009,

I am unable to access my site's javascript. I may have misunderstood your recommendation.

My form script includes the following javascript. Cheers, @buggjas

<div id="wufoo-zyytq001bdt2mz"> Fill out my <a href="https://bayviews.wufoo.com/forms/zyytq001bdt2mz">online form</a>. </div><script type="text/javascript"> var zyytq001bdt2mz; (function(d, t) { var s = d.createElement(t), options = { 'userName':'bayviews', 'formHash':'zyytq001bdt2mz', 'autoResize':true, 'height':'528', 'async':true, 'host':'wufoo.com', 'header':'show', 'ssl':true }; s.src = ('https:' == d.location.protocol ?'https://':'http://') + 'secure.wufoo.com/scripts/embed/form.js'; s.onload = s.onreadystatechange = function() { var rs = this.readyState; if (rs) if (rs != 'complete') if (rs != 'loaded') return; try { zyytq001bdt2mz = new WufooForm(); zyytq001bdt2mz.initialize(options); zyytq001bdt2mz.display(); } catch (e) { } }; var scr = d.getElementsByTagName(t)[0], par = scr.parentNode; par.insertBefore(s, scr); })(document, 'script'); </script>

Hi again @paul2009,
Sorry, I should clarify  - I was hoping to fix the issue without entering Developer mode as my client will lose all support. Would you recommend that we update to 7.1 or will the issue still be present?

Cheers 🙂

It is usually as simple as disabling Ajax, as described in the guide I posted. Have you tried that? If you are still having difficulties, please post a working link to the page.
