center images in a gallery carousel and infitely loop

Hi there, found this post and was wondering the exact same thing:

Sadly this was never solved, so hoping to bring it back up to perhaps find a solution now? This would solve all my problems. My only temporary solution was to repeat the images in the gallery so that it takes longer to get to the ugly off center first and last images, lol
