Desktop Responsive Design

Hi there,

I'm currently building the website of a client on a MacBook (1470x707px), and I see huge discrepancies in the design when viewed on a wider screen (1920x1080px).

Differences include: text boxes staying the same height on wider screens and leaving large amounts of empty space, spaces between sections greater on wider screens.

Any tips on how to avoid these issues?

Can you share your website URL? and some specific issues?

What do you have the site width set to?

I haven't customized the page width, so it will be whatever the default value is.  Where can I check this?

Included visuals of large white space that appears on the widescreen display, and not on the MacBook display.  Interested to learn how I can account for these and ensure a consistent visual experience.

Go to Style -> Accessories -> Spacing. Try a value of 1280px.

Editing at a resolution that is smaller than the site width + margin will make the text take up more lines and therefore more vertical space, which on a larger screen will create the blank space you are seeing.
