What do you think of this site for my wife's ?

Hi @sbrad725 -

I actually think the basis of your design started off on the right track and then got a little busy and went off course. I would just make a few changes to get it back on track.

The "on track" part is this hot pink paintbrush stroke. It's really eye catching and looks good with black. However, this top image looks a bit blurry. I also think the image on the left with the eyes/lips clashes in this section. 1) the lips are a different shade of pink than the brush strokes and 2) it's really busy with the brush strokes, the lips, and the eyes.

Also, reword the top copy so that it isn't focused on the business (don't say "my role" or "I will bring out", etc). The text at the top should quickly inform the customer of who you are and what you do - like, permanent makeup. You could even say "Enhance and accentuate your natural features" underneath it and leave it at that.

While I like the brush strokes and paint effect, it's something that should be subtle... in other words, it shouldn't be used in every background section. It's too overwhelming and in your face.

The "learn more" buttons are suuuuper tiny to read. Also, they need a stronger call to action - like, "book now".

The look of the buttons aren't consistent throughout the site. The "services" buttons are a square outline, but the "book my appointment" button is rounded, filled in, and a different font. And the "book now" button on the home page is different too.

The testimonials are a little hard to read. The font needs some space between the lines of text.

The footer: Background image is blurry, spacing is odd, and the name is overwhelmingly big. And the newsletter form looks choppy with a white background over the background image. Instead, I would put the newsletter in its own section above the footer with a solid white background.

The Services page: Too much spacing between the text and the button in each section. And not enough spacing between each service. The page has really narrow margins, so the content is taking up the whole page. I would increase the margins so there's more space on the sides.

About page could be built out a lot more. If someone is going to be using needles on my skin, I need to know a lot more about that person than 2 sentences!!

Add an email or form people can fill out on the contact page. Most people won't pick up the phone, so email should be an option for people.

Hope that helps.... let me know if you have questions 🙂
