Loss of Open Graph / SEO Info When Sharing from Index Page

When sharing a link to a specific work from an Index Page, the Open Graph & SEO information for that work is not communicated. Not even the title. 

For Example:

If I share this link from the Index Page (note the anchor tag), it will not contain any OG/SEO information for this specific work.

• No title
• No description
• No preview image

Conversely, if I share a direct link (no anchor tag), all OG/SEO info is intact.

This, of course, defeats the purpose of having a portfolio page, since the work now stands alone.

Is there a way to force this?
Otherwise, it seems pointless to spend time adding and editing the OG/SEO information, if it's just gonna disappear once you share the link.
