How can I replace the header navigation with a scrolling icon?

Hi everyone, I'm in the process of designing a fully custom website and I'd like to completely change the navigation. I'd like to have a shape that says menu, when you click on it, it opens up to all the different page options. It'd be cool if it could also rotate down the page. I'd like for it to function like it does on this site. Is this even possible to do on Squarespace? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
