derricksrandomviews
I think it is a great site. It shows a lot of imagination. http://www.celebrationsongsforyou.com Edited May 7 by derricksrandomviews Link to comment
JessicaM
@Snappygraham Here's some things that might help increase conversions: - You might think about using a different font than "Crafty Girls". A higher end font will give the impression that the quality of your work is higher end too. Plus, that font is really hard to read on the Reviews page. - In the Example Songs section, have the "listen here" buttons open up a new tab. That way you aren't taking people away from that page when they click the button. - The blue background on the Home and Contact page is really harsh on the eyes. I think it's a great color, but should be used as an accent color (like, buttons) instead of a whole background. HerMessyBun
It also looks like you're missing a Favicon (the image that shows up in the corner of the webpage tab) Link to comment
JulianP
If the main goal of the website is to hire you to write a custom song for them, I'd much rather see Graham in the main banner that you first see at the very top of the website instead of the big blue banner background. I would have the text "Celebration Songs for You" overlaid on top of the photo of Graham which already has a nice large black space where text could be placed, and then a big call-to-action button "Get a Custom Song" that links users to your 'services' page. The text in the button can be anything you prefer but should tell the user 'this is where I go if I'm interested in proceeding with this'. You have to think "what is my goal for the end user to accomplish on my site?" and then make it as easy as possible for them to learn who you are, what you're offering, and how to proceed if they're interested. That large banner space at the top is going to be your first impression and introduction when a new user visits the site, so make it count 🙂 Edited June 4 by JulianP Link to comment
