anyarum Posted April 29 Posted April 29 Hello! I'm preparing to launch a Store on my website and need to take a deposit for people to reserve their unit (the remainder will be charged a few months later when we ship their product). I'm not seeing a way to do this...any guidance would be greatly appreciated! Thanks a lot, Anna

If you create a series of service products that are priced according to your standard deposits, you can direct potential customers towards one of these. This will allow you to accept partial payment. If required you can change the "Add to cart" label on the button to "Pay deposit" and enable express checkout to skip the shopping cart page and proceed directly to the checkout page to make payment When you want to collect the balance, you can send your customer a link to a separate, hidden product priced at the remaining value. Depending on what you are selling, you may want to take a look at Squarespace Invoicing as an alternative. Did this help?
