GermanSkate Posted April 29 Share Posted April 29 I am new to Forums and Squarespace. Recently, I created a domain in Google, but it was transferred to Squarespace. My issue is that I activated a domain mail and linked it to Google Workspace (formerly known as Gmail). I can send emails using the Gmail software, but I don’t receive any emails. It said that Squarespace made all the settings, and the account should be operative. I am sure this has happened before, and someone wrote a solution, but I am not an expert. In videos said, you dont need to do nothing its automatic, other people say DNS or MX, for me its the same becasue I have NO clue of nothing related. There doesn’t seem to be any straightforward way to understand Gmail/Squarespace domains when you don’t know much about them. Please help Link to comment

Squarespace acquired all domain registrations for Google Domains, which is why recently-purchased domains are managed through Squarespace instead of Google. If you have any other domains with Google, they'll migrate over to Squarespace automatically at some point. On to that email issue, though - this could certainly be related to the domain's MX records. These are also called "mail exchange" records, and they're a type of DNS record. If you created the email address recently, the MX records probably some more time to update. If it's not an issue with the DNS records, then it may be related to the Google Workspace account settings. What domain are you using for your email address? Link to comment
Lauraleelanau Posted May 25 Share Posted May 25 Having the same issue here - my other registered email address in squarespace, through google are working fine, but one is not receiving any emails for the past 2 days. Nothing has changed, this account has been active since 2019, I have no idea why all the sudden it is not working. invoices are up to date and I have no forwarding or filters on. Any advice?
