Blog - Featured image overriding featured images for other posts

I'm confident that someone can help me with this.  I'm new to the blogging portion of Squarespace.  I've created two blog posts, and when I attempt to upload a featured image for each, the image automatically overrides the image for the other post and both featured images match.  image.png.c29f8bc4fc386f53b736dbbb2b16056e.png

What am I doing wrong?  Is there a way for the featured image to be different for each post?  I've been going to Settings and then modifying the image here.

I think you are uploading to the wrong place. When changing the featured image for one past, go to your web page in configuration. On the list of blog posts, click the three dots next to the one you want to edit. Choose settings, then content, and upload the image there. You can also change the social image of that post as well. This image shows up when the blog post is posted on Facebook, Instagram, etc.

I can't duplicate the problem. I choose one post, go to settings, upload a new image and the other posts remain the same. It could be you have a glitch of some sort. Try deleting the image in the posts where you don't want it to be and start again and see if the unpopulated field in the other posts gets the image.
