Updated to 7.1 and header has disappeared

I updated to 7.1 from 7.0 today and my header has disappeared on my homepage. It's there on other pages. Any ideas?

The pages that I want as part of the header are there, they're just not visible

Did you use the Squarespace update tool to update to v7.1 and was your home page on the v7.0 a cover page?

To get the header and footer back go to Page Settings > Navigation for the Page.

Yes, I did use the update tool to update to v7.1. 

I've followed your steps, and they are already visible (see attached picture). It seems that the font is white so that you can't see it although if you hover your mouse over the right area you can tell that there is something to click.
