Hi I get this error when I try to add a Custom Record Type A, but the only other record I have is a CNAME record. I have already deleted all of the default Squarespace records. Please help

THis is all that I have added, but when I try to add the Type A record, I get the error I posted above.

This is certainly strange! If your domain is all-britepools.com, I still see A records pointing to Squarespace when I look at the DNS records that are propagating. Is the "Squarespace Defaults" section completely removed, even if the section appears empty?

Also, the "www" CNAME record typically doesn't point back to your root domain, so you may also want to double-check the CNAME record information shared by your website host.
