Need help with product variant buttons

Greetings,

I would like to add product variant buttons to my page instead of the classic dropdown menu. I think the template does host the option to do it under store/edit section/design. I would like to have buttons that show the colour of the products, as that is the only variant I have. If possible I would also like to display them in the store, not just in the product page. Squarespace has a built-in variant button function (in place of the dropdown) but to use this you'll need to change your Product Detail Page format from Full to Simple. However, these buttons won't be styled in different colours to match their descriptions. For that you'll need some highly customised code. If you're looking for a pre-built solution, Sqspthemes sell a plugin called Swatch Variants (affiliate link) that may be helpful.

Hi , beautiful people of the squarespace commerce.

I would like to consult anyone experienced in something with adding a function to select color for the product.

We sell lovely hand-made bean bags, and we have quite a good selection of color. Question is how can I display these color so my site visitor can select and see the sample.

In this amazing website, they allow user to select a combination of color for the finished product.

Wondering what is the tool /code /plugin behind this. Can I do the same thing in my website in squarespace? How can I put in not just color but texture of the fabric to reflect as well.
