CSRDP1974
Hello Everyone and Squarespace Is there another Payment Processor for Canada other than STRIPE? I had a terrible experience with them and it cost me a lot of time to a solution that is not yet resolved. Thankfully Paypal was easy to set up so i am back online. Nevertheless, i want to offer my clients the opportunity to process with Credit Card on the site. Unfortunately SquareUp does not operate in Canada cause that was easy to set up as well. When wil Squarespace Payment be available in Canada? We need these options fast! Link to comment

If you are using Squarespace Commerce, and you want to accept credit cards (without requiring customers to create an account with PayPal) then you must use Stripe. Squarespace Payments (based on Stripe) is not available in Canada yet. No date has been announced. Did this help? CSRDP1974
Hello, Thank you for your answer, unfortunately STRIPE is making it very difficult for me to verify my non-for-profit. The same verification took 15mins with Paypal. This has caused me weeks of downtime (unable to process) and no resolution in sight. There needs to be another option, as right now i am handcuffed by this. Link to comment

I would recommend escalating this with another team. I'm sure we all welcome thorough anti-fraud checks but I wouldn't expect them to take days. In my experience, the company is very responsive - if you reach the right person/team 🙂. Me: I'm Paul, a SQSP user for >18 yrs & Circle Leader since 2017. CSRDP1974
Thanks again for the response but unfortunately my attempts to have this escalated to the verification team so that I can explain or at least get a concreate reason to why the verification is failing have failed since March 11. I have uploaded countless documents, made all the modifications requested and still no success. As per to the agents that i have spoken too, the verification team does not take calls. From my email exchanges they also don't respond to emails. This has caused us a great deal of financial loss for the organization. Which i keep on reminding them of. This is a non for profit local soccer club in Montreal, Qc, Canada. Families can not purchase the services we provide for summer campa and soccer schools, the community and the kids are paying the price. A secondary option to STRIPE needs to come into play from a Squarespace perspective as we need to be able to process online. Thank you for your help. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.
