Carousel arrows unresponsive

Hello, I seem to be struggling with clicking on my carousel arrows. They have no effect on hover and only go to next image when you swipe your mouse like you are swiping photos on a phone. The arrows are not clickable at all. It is configured as a simple slideshow in the settings. My custom css is only for button color.

If anyone knows how to solve this, help would be greatly appreciated.
