Show/hide content on long lists

I have a page with two very long lists (10 items each). I'm wondering if there's a way to show just the first few items on each list and have some kind of "show/hide" link that would reveal/unhide (and re-hide) the remaining items.

I feel like I've seen that before on websites, though I can't point to one right now.

I'd appreciate any (workable) ideas anyone might be so kind as to offer.
