kkacademy
Hi, I would like to create a slideshow at the beginning of my home page, like many other websites have. Nothing special. I need the slideshow to have the following elements for each slide: 1. A background color 2. Text block - one with header and one with paragraph 3. Button 4. Navigation buttons or arrows 5. Image blocks (for example 1-3 images) However the available slideshow section in Squarespace does not allow an image block to be added on top of each slide, so that every separate slide has it's own image, text and button. Currently the only solution I have came-up with is creating multiple copies of my home page and then as a navigation buttons I have added separate images, and when clicking on each nav. image it redirects to the respective copy of the home page. Unfortunately by using this approach, the loading time when navigating trough slides is a lot even that I have not yet built my full home page. So I assume after the home page is fully ready, the slideshow would load even slower and my client wont be happy... Could you please help me find a solution to this issue? I will attach an image of what is the desired layout of the slideshow. Thank you in advance! Edited April 5 by kkacademy Link to comment
