Strange glitch in the grid when pinning

I'm having issues with one section of a page. The grid there isn't consistent in size. Rather, there is one row that keeps stretching and throwing off the spacing below. The block to the left is pinned in place. Is there a reason that would affect the grid? I've had to redesign this section to try to work around this problem, but any block I put in that area on the right stretches along with the grid.

Please see the attached image to see what's happening. Is there a way to fix this while also keeping the text at left pinned?

This looks like a stretch caused by the heading text changing from 3 line to 4. If you edit the section layout with it on 4 lines then you should get the grid more even. What problem is that stretch in the grid causing?

I'll play around with it to see if resizing the text box might help--thanks for the suggestion.

The problem is that anything overlaying that grid section is then stretched. The space between those two image boxes on the right is very wide and unpredictable, whereas other boxes below are spaced just one regular grid space apart.
