Added anchors to a single page website, but menu opens each page in a new tab

Hey I'm working on this website and wanted it to be one page with code anchors to each section. 

I used pretty minimal code, but when I click the menu links it opens a new tab and scrolls down to that page instead of just scrolling in the same tab. This is obviously incredibly frustrating! I followed this tutorial exactly, so I'm not sure why it isn't working as intended.

I'm new to this so any help is so appreciated!

@tuanphan i'm experiencing the same issue. the main navigation includes anchor links to other sections on the same page and they work properly you're at the top of the site. but as you start scrolling and if you scroll back up the main navigation appears again and the links open in another tab.

im not tuan but its working mostly fine on my chrome browser. only issue i see at all, is when trying to get it to mess up, it loses its anchor spot a little. So, sometimes I click on contact and it takes me a bit below the section line, cutting off the first and last name fields and half of the email field. "Team" and "Work" anchors dont seem to miss at all. While the "About" anchor can land halfway down into the "WE BUILD AND GROW" line sometimes. 

But NONE of them open in another tab no matter what I do.
