Danielgsd
Hello, I am new to selling on SS and recently had a question come up about taxes since I am getting things sorted. Here in Canada we submit the CRA but tax is only charged where the customer resides. So I went to look for a breakdown in Stripe and it appears that SS doesn't share the breakdown of the receipt to the Stripe dashboard/account. Only the paid total. For example, a 100$ sale at 13% is 113 paid. In Stripe that is 113$ net but no tax line!! There is no way to track down tax paid on all sales. Is this true? Does anyone have a way to view a report for tax paid on each province/state? Otherwise there is no way to track and remit or know what sales paid what tax or what province rate I collected. If the CRA ever asks, or come tax time I would have no way to know where the tax came from or what province rate was used for that sale. This is a huge oversight on SS and makes it useless as an e-commerce platform. Unless you want to waste money with a bookkeeper. Thanks for the help, Daniel Link to comment
