Does Squarespace support external database integration? (using Microsoft Access, MySQL, etc.)

Can my Squarespace website visitors enter a name in a searchable field on one of my pages, and then be presented with additional information specific to that name (which I have entered into several fields in on a pre-populated external/internal database).

This is not the exact data or use case, but an example would be someone entering a country name in a field on a page in my website and then being presented with 5 items unique/specific to that country.

For example, they would enter “United States” in searchable "Country" field and then page would display: Capitol: Washington D.C., Language: Various, Cuisine: Pizza and French Fries, National Bird: Bald Eagle, etc. in pre-designated fields.

If it does not support database integration, is there another way to achieve this on a Squarespace website?

Thanks!

SS does not support database integration. There is no access to the backend of SS.

You may find a search for the term database on this forum of use. You can search for posts by me and paul2009. We've both posted on some potential options.

Let us know how it goes.
