Ashley77 Posted March 15 Posted March 15 (edited) Note: Figured this out. I would delete if I could. Thank you! Hi, I just took advantage of the one-year free of Google Workspace after purchasing my website plan (I had already bought the domain). I want an email address from my domain in order to conduct my business and look more professional than I would using a gmail.com address. I followed all steps, but now I get this note asking me to accept Terms and Conditions (below). When I click the link provided, it brings me to a Google sign-in screen. When I try to use my new email address (ashley.shelby@vanishingworldcreative.com), which is the admin email address, it asks for a password I don't have. When I use my existing Google account, I get the message requesting the admin to login, included below (my son's school email address shows up so I blacked it out). So it seems like I'm caught in a trap. I can only access my Google Workspace if I accept terms and conditions, but in order to access those terms and conditions I have to sign in to a Google account I don't actually have (my Vanishing World Creative email address, just created). I hope I've made the problem somewhat clear. Where do I go from here? Edited March 15 by Ashley77 problem was solved
Letlynx Posted April 1 Posted April 1 @Ashley77 did you get a solution for this? I’m having the same problem and it’s very frustrating
Solution PixelSoda Posted April 2 Solution Posted April 2 Hey @Letlynx, you should have an email with a temporary password that you'll use to log into your new Google Workspace account for the first time. After logging in you can set your own password to use moving forward.
Ashley77 Posted April 5 Author Posted April 5 (edited) @LetlynxI marked @PixelSoda's response as a solution because this is exactly right and how I solved the problem. There is an email sent to you with a temporary password but it is easy to miss because it's in the middle of a ton of text. I made the mistake of reading too fast/scanning and didn't see the temp password, nor is the email subject line indicative of the fact that it contains that temp password. I'm sorry for the late response. Edited April 5 by Ashley77 Forgot to tag
Pippin Posted April 5 Posted April 5 I had the same issue, and the temp password worked. However when I created a new password the got an Error 404 page. I tried the new password several times and got the same error message. Why does this happen and how I fix this?
