JonnyIlsley
Please tell me someone has solved this! I am looking to use an Image block with the setting "Fit". I need to use Fit as the photo needs to retain its aspect ratio and not be cropped. However, when you use this, extra space is added around the image when you resize your browser window. I think this is a Fluid Engine problem. (The pesky Fluid Engine Spacing Issue we all know about) This means if you are trying to do something like the below: IMAGE TEXT As you resize the browser, the image moves "further away" from the text as more empty space is added. Is there any way to solve this other than using classic editor? Seems that classic editor is the only solution at the moment. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Ziggy
Can you share your website URL and the page you are testing this on? The benefit of the classic editor was that rows were only made up of the content within them. The problem you have on FE is that the image block is taking up too many rows and because the image will always fit into the block constraints. It may be possible to code an aspect ratio that could stretch the rows, but I'm not sure how well that would work. CE might be the easiest way to go. I generally love the possibilities from FE but there are certain things that just become difficult that used to be easy on CE, go figure. Please like and upvote if my comments were helpful to you.
