Typewriter effect making page/photos "jump" - any suggestions?

Hi All,

I added a code block + footer injection to create a typewriter effect for my homepage. It looks great in preview mode - but when I set my site live to test out a page - I noticed that when the text effect "deleted" that section jumped and the photos elongated. Any suggestions on how I can tweak the code and remove this issue?

I can't believe it was that easy! I was going through my code with a fine tooth comb thinking I made a typo somewhere, I completely forgot about Occam's Razor...
