Searching products on the back end

When searching for a product tag for example the products are properly filtered and the bottom shows as such:

the problem occurs when going to the next page which causes the search to reset like this:

Is there a way to select all products tagged with "tag X", I was trying to search for the tag, select the first 50, go to the next page then select the next 50 and so on.

Did you ever find a solution for this? I am running into the same issue.
