Ability to Select Date/Time Before Checkout

I'm testing Squarespace functionality for a client who is currently using Shopify and it's causing her nightmares. 

My client makes and sells grazing boards which are available for local pickup and delivery. 

So far, Squarespace meets all her functionality requirements except for one thing: She needs the shopping cart to allow customers to select a date/time prior to checkout. This will allow customers to schedule when their grazing board is delivered or available for pickup. 

Is there a way to integrate Acuity into the shopping cart? The reason I thought Acuity might be a good fit is that it automatically sends out reminder emails. 

OR does anyone know of a plugin or extension workaround?
