ezmmarketing
So, I am unsure how long this has been a problem for me. I use Chrome on my iPhone and computer, but recently, I used it on Safari and discovered this... I have anchor links all over my website, and it's simple. You set a code block on a page with a unique ID, and then you have a button that links to that unique ID. The problem I discovered is that after clicking the button and being taken to the section of the page where the code block is, when you try to scroll away, it keeps snapping you back to the anchor. I've tried several code inject workarounds custom css etc. Nothing is working; I was wondering if anyone had any workarounds I could try besides removing my anchor links. I contacted Squarespace via email, and they addressed the issue and stated, "This is related to an issue on our end where anchor links may not work as expected in Safari on iOS and desktop." But after doing my research, it seems like this has been an existing problem in some form for a while; rather than waiting for a fix that may never come, I'm seeking workarounds. I really don't want to have to move from Squarespace, either Also, this could also be an issue on the desktop version of Safari. I don't know; however, I haven't tested it. UPDATE 3/9/24: The same issue is now occurring on the mobile version of Chrome Edited March 9 by ezmmarketing Link to comment

ezmmarketing
There is no difference; the same problem exists. The link the button is using is "https://www.ezmmarketing.com/home#howwegrowbusinesses" Link to comment
Brantanamo
Did you find a way to fix this? I am having the exact same problem (it keeps bouncing back to anchor point when I try and scroll away). It only happens when my enquire button is clicked and it moves to the anchor for the first time. I do not want to make my site live until the problem is resolved. Link to comment
