I want "Video Collection" videos to play in a simple lightbox, rather than a dedicated page.

Hello!

I've added lots of videos to a "video collection", which serves as a main function of my website:
https://www.jamesgreenfilm.com/ 

However, when the video thumbnails are clicked, we follow through to a dedicated page for that video/project.
I'd much prefer if the video plays in a pop-up lightbox, allowing the user to easily watch, click and navigate through all of my videos with ease.

I did a quick crude mock up on Photoshop of the sort of thing I'd love (if possible, of course!)

I've seen various threads on here, and I can't seem to decipher which one will work for me specifically.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You can use Lightbox Plugin to achieve this. I will write a quick guide on how to do this & send soon

I recently purchased the Lightbox Anything Plug In which I've seen you mention before, but I'm worried it's not correct.
It's this one: https://www.sqspthemes.com/plugins/p/ultimate-squarespace-lightbox-plugin

I still have no idea how to make this work, as I can't seem to work out how to make the video thumbnails transition to a lightbox video player or page.
I've followed their advice, uploaded the plug in files, added the Code Injection, but I can't work out how to make it work.

If you can help it would be very appreciated!

OP use the suggested plugin Lightbox Anything, have you try it?
