Kuld
Hi, I'm brand new to website building and I am in need of creating a product "Custom sticker" It's essential for my business. I do not know how to code in the slightest, I'm barely working out how to edit existing code that people put online! What I need: An option for an image upload for the purchase of the custom sticker - the image upload must have a maximum size -must be specific file types (pdf, jpg, png. not GIF or any types out of the ordinary) - must be uploaded to whatever cloud or storage AFTER the purchase (otherwise any troll can spam a storage full of rubbish) I need a way of knowing which purchase is which file. I wouldn't want to send a customer the wrong prints! I have had a long search and the best way of making this happen that i have implemented already is coding in a dropbox request box during the purchase, but this presents all the issues stated above. I'd really appreciate help with this. I'm a bit confused why this doesn't seem to be a feature on squarespace, given millions of sites have this when filling in forms. The only other idea I have is that the customer gets some kind of link to upload after payment, or an email that states they have to reply with their artwork. Again, this isn't ideal Many thanks, James 😇 Link to comment
Toomey99
I actually need a solution for this also, a way to upload say 'PDF' files on ordering either when added to cart or on check out... can't seem to find a solution so if you do find one please let me know x Link to comment
btgwebb
@Kuld @Toomey99 Did you get any resolution to this? I'm looking to do something similar to what is on the Stickerfritz (Shpify) website. I need the customer to upload a csv file before clicking Add to Cart. I like the way the upload file is required on the stickerfritz site so my first task is to replicate this approach. Any help appreciated from anyone more experienced or at least point me to a Squarespace website that successfully requires a file to be uploaded in order to add to cart / checkout. I'm aware of (and currently use Uploader) but am attempting to redesign my site with a store to sell personalised reports (based on the uploaded file). Thanks Link to comment
