AMP version of blog posts automatically shows featured image

Hello,

I have recently set the blog settings for a few websites to amp, to provide the search engines and users a hopefully quicker and better blog reading experience. Now, I have run into the following issue:

The featured image of the blog post, which you can set through editing the settings of the blog post, automatically shows at the top of the article in the AMP version. In the desktop version, this is not the case. Hence, I now have two similar pictures on the top of the blog posts (because when writing it for desktop I created a version with an image at the top of the article).

I want to disable the featured image in the AMP blog post version.

 Does anyone know how to do this?
