FelixTindall
Hi guys, as I understand the Wexley template doesn't allow categories/tags to work with the full spread gallery collection page. I was wondering if anyone could help me source a code that I could paste into my custom CSS that would allow me to filter/categorize my illustration work similar to how its presented on my shop page (snippet attached). Ideally I would like to retain the way presented by featuring the categories directly under my menu options on my main page gallery via text design (https://www.felixtindall.com/) Any assistance on this would be appreciated! Thanks. Link to comment
tuanphan
We can achieve it with JS + CSS code, however it has a problem. Adding tag "all", "anime"... to items is a bit complex, The only way I can think of is to change the item's url, then the JS code can recognize it to apply the filter. for eg: change this https://www.felixtindall.com/helldivers2 to https://www.felixtindall.com/movies/helldivers2 and JS code will require a Business Plan or higher If you still want to continue, I will try test some code and let you know Email me if you have need any help (free, of course.). FelixTindall
Okay so for clarity, to allow this to work I must rename all my image URLs to include the name of the corresponding category? Also my concern with this solution is that if this will restrict my option to put images into multiple different categories and are not only locked to one. I currently have a business plan but am not certain yet If I will keep it in 2025. Will this heavily affect the code/functionality without it? Edited March 5 by FelixTindall Link to comment
