TheMoffBalls
Good afternoon, I have created a page with my resume which looks great on desktop view, however when viewed on mobile Squarespace has made it impossible for me to rearrange the blocks in order. Is it possible to disable device view for this one page, please? Thanks so much, Rick Earvin 1 Link to comment

If you use Classic sections on that page instead of Fluid Engine sections, blocks will be stacked vertically on mobile devices. This guide explains in more detail: How blocks stack on mobile in the classic editor. Did this help? TheMoffBalls
Thanks so much for your reply. I understand what Squarespace has done by stacking the blocks vertically. My problem is, the desktop page has lots of small text boxes with lots of repeated text and it is impossible to rearrange in the device editor. I would like to disable device view for this page. Can you please confirm if this is possible? Link to comment

As I mentioned, there are two different ways to manage responsiveness for mobiles. You can either use the Classic editor, or use Fluid Engine, which has a completely separate mobile layout. One of these may suit your page design more than the other. A link to the page will help us to provide advice on this. Unfortunately the URL field is never included in the public post! As that page is a Fluid Engine page, I'd definitely recommend that you try to create the page again on another 'test' page, starting with a Classic page section. You'll find the Classic option at the very bottom of the section picker. Me: I'm Paul, a SQSP user for >18 yrs & Circle Leader since 2017. I value honesty, transparency, diversity and good design ♥. TheMoffBalls
I am really sorry - but I have no idea where to locate the classic section or section picker. Is there a video tutorial? Link to comment

Scroll down to the bottom of the list of section types. Click Add Blank [Classic Editor]. Please see this guide for more info. Me: I'm Paul, a SQSP user for >18 yrs & Circle Leader since 2017. TheMoffBalls
Thanks so much for that. I have added a blank section and copied the text over - but the formatting is now wrong on both. I have saved the site so you can see this. Is there no way the device view can be the same as the desktop view for this page? Link to comment
TheMoffBalls
Hello, I have created a page for my resume however when I view this page on device view Squarespace automatically stacks the text boxes in a way that makes them impossible to rearrange due to the amount of boxes / repeat text. I have tried making the page in both fluid and classic editor and neither work. Here is a link to the page; https://www.rickpolitz.com/production-1 The easiest fix would be to disable device view for this page - can someone please help / confirm if this is possible? Thanks, Rick Link to comment

I looked briefly but could not find the "Broadcast Credits" list within a Classic section. However, have you considered adding your data into a responsive table? There isn't a built-in 'table' feature, but you could add a table manually using some code in a Markdown Block or Code Block, or the Table Block plugin (affiliate link for a product I use regularly). For example, here's a page section and a Markdown Block (using three rows of your data): Earvin 1 Me: I'm Paul, a SQSP user for >18 yrs & Circle Leader since 2017.
