Help me link my blog images to external urls

Hi there,

Please can someone provide me with some code that will enable me to link the images on my blog page to external urls?

I have been able to link the text itself (the name of the blog) to the relevant external url, but not the image itself. The images each currently link to blank blog pages on my website.

Please post the code I should use here if you can! Have been trying to resolve this for a while and am getting nowhere. Please help!!

Why are you using a blog if this is only to link to an external page?

I am using the blog page as a portfolio page. I am linking to articles I've published on other websites.

I want to have the option to link an image to an external url, but it would be nice to be able to keep some linking to a blog page on my site as I'd like to create case study pages for one or two portfolio entries.

Firstly you could try this thread and the code offered:

If that doesn't work for you then you could potentially disable the click on the images which would get around this for you.
