WolakS
I have a client that has a Squarespace site, uses Google Workspace and has their domain throug Squarespace too (now). In their DNS - I see a section for all "Google workspace" MX records. In the "Custom" section - I see several DNS records from "mailhostbox.com". She doesn't know who that is or why those are even there. It appears that I can 'edit' but no delete those records. When trying to add DKIM from Google Workspace - I can't do that either because of the other records that I need to delete. Can someone help us? I sent a support ticket through her account, but we haven't heard back yet. Under the custom records - there are the following CNAME -> client (for her CRM), Google verification, imap, smtp, webmail (all to mailhostbox.com) and she has 3 MX records going to that same mailhostbox.com and one SPF for mailhostbox.com. Please advise. Otherwise, I've told her I'll transfer her domain and email out of the Squarespace/Google universe. Link to comment

If your client isn't using the service, you should be able to delete the associated records by clicking the icon beside each record: Does this option not appear when you hover over the record? A screenshot of your DNS panel, and details of the domain name would be helpful if you require more help from the forum 🙂. Me: I'm Paul, a SQSP user for >18 yrs & Circle Leader since 2017. WolakS
Hi, yes, understood. However, she did hear back from support and for whatever reason - the first level support person couldn't delete them either and had to escalate. We can close this ticket. Clearly there's something else going on here. Appreciate the response. Link to comment
bfarrel7
I am not an IT expert but am running into the same issue. Trying to setup DKIM with google workspace but also seem to need the custom records deleted before I can copy in the txt record value required to setup DKIM. Link to comment
