Domain not updating in google search

Hello,

The domain of the website I've been working on is still not updating when we search it in google.

I've read other posts about needing to connect to the google search console account. Did that, but 72 hours later, it's still not updating. 

Just some other context, I transferred this domain from another website that was created within squarespace. My client went through a branding revamp and needed me to design a new website for him. We've deactivated the old website, then transferred that domain to the updated website. If you see the image in the attachment, this is how it is appearing on google search:

The website is www.uncofranks.com

Hi @uhohitsheidiho. Your source code is wrong - it still references the built-in domain as canonical. I'd take a screenshot and submit it to Support. But also if you change the built-in domain it likely will fix itself.

Thank you for getting back to me.

Dumb question...if I changed the built-in domain, would I just update it here and type in "uncofranks" or "www.uncofranks.com" ? I want to be extra careful that I don't mess anything up if I do it myself.

Yes that is where you change it. It can be anything you prefer, although not the www listed above -- see more info here. If the source code doesn't update and you need help communicating with Support team, please feel free to reach out via our contact form. It is a bug. 

Hey, it looks like your primary URL might be set to triangle-dandelion domain rather than www.uncofranks.com. You can check this in the settings. 

It can take a week or so for Google Search Console to recrawl your site.
