UK Shipping options - How do I setup for Royal Mail tracked 24/48 up to max 2kg weight and a courier for anything larger?

Hi - I'm can anybody help me find a solution for setting up different shipping options for POD with shipping options based on weight?

My supplier uses Royal Mail 48 or 24 tracked delivery for packages up to 2kg. They use DPD Courier service for larger packages.

I cannot find a way to set a maximum weight for a particular delivery as all options allow delivery weight up to infinity.

I would like to set up a fulfillment option that includes the following:

1 - Royal Mail tracked 48, for weights 0 to 2kg. Offered as free delivery.

2 - Royal Mail tracked 24, for weights 0 to 2kg. Offered at £X.

3 - DPD next day Courier, for weights from 2kg to 20kg. Offered at £Y.

4 - DPD next day Courier, for weights over 20kg. Offered at £Z.

I keep hitting a brick wall. I can setup rates for price bands but I have to cover all weight options from 0 to infinity.

I can't have say, Royal Mail 48 for anything up to 2kg and DPD courier for anything over 2kg. Sounds simple, but can't be done?

No. Sadly not.

I've resorted to setting everything to free delivery and costs built into unit prices. I set the only delivery option as Tracked 48. Anything over the 2kg weight I get an email from my pod supplier to confirm delivery, which i change to courier seevice.

CX I think is pretty straight forward but paying a premium to host online shop on my website I'm disappointed not to have something better.

It's really not ideal so I'll be looking at what other options are available as and when I move on from SquareSpace.
