AGPHOTO Posted February 23 Posted February 23 Hi, I have gone for an oversized full bleed text logo for my home page - I have done this by creating a Jpeg logo with a width of 2560px (I couldn't see a solution to do this design via squarespace itself - please advise if there is a known solution?). I am happy with how it looks on my 16" macbook but it doesn't work at all on mobile and I really need the homepage design to scale down to show my full name - any ideas? Thanks in advance!

AGPHOTO Posted February 23 Author Posted February 23 Hi Ziggy, So I have just added a background image to a homepage and then not added any text etc. Ideally I would like to be able to add my name in text to a homepage within square space and then code the text block to be full width to the browser. Is this possible?
AGPHOTO Posted February 23 Author Posted February 23 This is the current method I have used, this image is not downscaling to mobile. As mentioned in my previous reply, the ideal solution would be to make the text block method within the image below, expand to full site width on all browsers.
Ziggy Posted February 23 Posted February 23 Honestly, I'm a little confused as you have this coverpage only appearing briefly and then redirecting. One method that may work is to make the image with your logo the right size for mobile, i.e. a 1x2 ratio with lots of negative space top and bottom. AGPHOTO Posted February 24 Author Posted February 24 Hi Ziggy, Yes that's right, the homepage is only meant to show for a few seconds before taking you to the main site. Essentially I just want my name on the home page to be full site width for all browsers, is this possible through custom CSS? Thanks
